Hello 2025!

Jan 05, 2025

Hello there. I haven't done many blog posts recently, but I'm going to try and update everyone here as much as I can with bigger updates that require more than an Insta post.

A few things to wrap up 2024...

Record Sales & no more wholesale
2024 was our biggest year yet, and we are super happy with how the business is going. We also made the decision to stop selling wholesale to stores and businesses. As we try and keep our prices affordable, we really couldn't afford to keep giving out huge discounts. We trialed it for a couple of years, and it was a good learning experience, but I don't think we will be going back.

Bass Traps still on hold
Many have asked, and I have told many that they will be available again soon. The reason why we released them and them took them offline again is because we have been trying to do too many things at once, and decided that things will be better for everyone with a more thought-out approach.
What I mean by this is that we have been doing some massive renovations at the warehouse and have not had the time to design and offer the most suitable products to our customers. Originally we had released the V Trap, which is a MLV membrane trap. And the traps worked fine, in-fact they were incredibly broadband and were effective up to 200Hz and above. But for long standing rooms modes, we decided a more targeted approach would be better. So it means we can't really design a product that works for everyone/every room. Instead we will be designing tuned traps for individual customer needs. As most rooms are different and will have slightly different room modes, the new traps will be very high absorption with a very narrow band. Compared to a very low absorption and very wide band. This is just the way it has to be.

New Products and more on the horizon
We have recently added a few 'affordable' panel option on the site. This include the Lite Panels and the Limited Addition CottonDrill Panels. They are basically a stripped back version of the V Panels witha lightweight fabric making them more affordable for small businesses that need large quantities, as well as podcasters and other bargain seekers. More info can be found on the product pages.
Despite the setbacks mentioned above and once we are though those hoops, we are planning on releasing a number of new products in 2025/26. This will include additional bass traps and diffusers, staining options for framed products, vocal booths, larger format panels for venues and larger spaces, custom products, gobos and a whole commercial range which will mostly consist of China imports.

That's about it for now. Until then... laterz.
