This service is for an in-depth approach at treating your room and provides you with a detailed report of the rooms frequency response (with a main focus on bass frequencies) and a recommended treatment plan, as well as optimal speaker and listening position.
Every room is different and generally requires a unique set of products in order to get you the best results. Our broad range of products, coincided with the correct placement and listening position, are designed to achieve the maximum potential out of your room.
As mentioned, our main focus is focused on the lower frequencies, as this is where room modes or standing waves arise. As bass frequencies are longer than higher frequencies, they tend to build up and cause noticeable peaks and troughs in the room. While mid and higher frequencies can easily be treated with broadband absorbers, bass treatment requires a more targeted approach.
The service consists of:
- a site visit
- sine sweeps in various locations of your room
- testing various speaker and listening positions
- a detailed recommended treatment plan
Testing usually takes between 1-2 hours.
